Wicked made its London premiere at the Apollo Victoria Theatre London on 27th April 2006 and has been running there since then. Since the musical made its very first stage debut in 2003, Wicked has gone on to be a record breaker. At present it holds the record of weekly-gross-takings records in Los Angeles, Chicago, St. Louis and London. Currently it is one of the twenty longest running shows at West End having been viewed by over two million patrons globally. The piece is a Stephen Schwartz inception and it is the story of two witches of Oz. Elphaba is the most misunderstood one who is a smart and fiery girl in her emerald-green skin. She grows up to be the notorious Wicked witch of the West. While her friend Galinda is beautiful, blonde and popular among masses, upon growing up she is called the Good Witch of the North. The story leaves behind a strong impact over audiences and they are left to wonder what it really takes to be wicked?

Ever since Wicked the Musical made its debut at the Apollo Victoria Theatre London, the auditorium of the theatre has remained jam-packed.  A West End Theatre, Apollo Victoria is located on Wilton Road close to the Victoria Station in the City of Westminster, London. The house opened in 1930 as cinema and was converted for theatrical usage in 1980s. Since then it has been the home to some of the record breaking musicals starting with the Sound of Music in 1981, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Richard Stilgoe’s Starlight Express that ran here from 1984 to 2002 and hosting Wicked since 2006. Rahman, Don Black and Meera Syal, Saturday Night Fever (July 2, 2004 – February 18, 2006) by The Bee Gees and Nan Knighton and Movin' Out (March 28, 2006 – May 22, 2006) by Twyla Tharp and Billy Joel.

Wicked Theatre Tickets are a must to watch this world class musical at the Apollo Victoria Theatre London. Performances of Wicked the Musical are hosted at the theatre from Monday to Saturday at 19:30 while Matinees are there on Wednesday and Saturday at 14:30. There are some significant tourist attractions near the theatre, the most interesting one being the Buckingham Palace. Apollo Victoria Theatre is just one minute away from the London Victoria Mainline Station and stands next to the Victoria Underground Station.
